Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Color Me Crazy Chihuahuas, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future littler. While it’s unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: We will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit for the puppy, we will notify you and then at that point, we will accept a deposit. Please make a deposit within 24 hours of receiving the approval as the puppy will not be held longer than that. We only accept deposits when puppies are actually available. Deposit is non refundable unless there is an issue with the health of the puppy. In this case, you will have the option of a transfer of the deposit to a different puppy.

GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development  that the litter departs within a reasonable time frame. Puppy needs to be picked up or shopped before  weeks of age unless agreed upon by both Buyer and Breeder at the time of the deposit.

CONTRACT: We have a purchase agreement and will not place a puppy without a signed purchase agreement. We believe it’s the professional thing to do to have everything in writing so there are no questions later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to putting a deposit on a puppy.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our puppies are placed as pets with limited AKC registration unless full registration is agreed upon at the time of deposit. Puppies sold with full AKC registration must include the prefix CMC in their registered name, and AKC may update the name if needed. While full registration indicates the puppy has been evaluated as a potential show or breeding prospect, no guarantee is made regarding future breeding or show success.
